FortiOS 4.2.3 for FG/FWF 60C
This was just released. I very quickly started to receive feedback about high CPU utilization problems for the 60C build also. You may want to stick with 4.2.2 for now.
it is a general problem with that model... I've installed several FGT60C and all of them have the same issue, now in ver4 mr3 patch1 there is an additional problem, some process called forticron is doing that the cpu goes to 99% and thins time you can't disable that process...
Seems like high CPU is general problem (by design??) at FG60C
ReplyDeleteDisabling application control solve the problem but it kind of defeat the purpose ! I had to downgrade to 4.2.2 for now.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they solved the IPsec problem in that revision as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm havint trouble with 4.2.3 and 4.2.2.
ReplyDeleteMaybe i'm going to try to lower even more... wish me luck!
cheers.

ReplyDeleteKill forticron with firing at least 5 diag sys kill 11 [PID] after discovering it's pid from diag sys top.
ReplyDeleteIt will automatically respawn in about a minute.
